Outstanding
Have listened to hundreds of true crime podcasts and this one is up there. Really hope you manage to solve it, best of luck!
Very well done
This podcast is excellent so far! The format, the editing, the narration, the layout of the episodes, everything so far is well done. It is bingeable too! Can’t wait for the next episode!
Restored hope for Elaine’s search
I’m really glad someone else has taken on this case, it’s crazy it’s been 8 years with no resolution for her family and friends. It goes into a lot of detail and is very respectful. it has been a bit repetitive/ drawn out at times and the delivery- well, could be, less…jarring 😬 it’s ok to have a lil monotone Aussie accent. The last ep RIP was 20 mins too long, and PLS chuck some compression on the recorded phone calls! Def worth listening/ bingeing, I’m hopeful Troy can finally get some answer’s :) 🇦🇺
It’s giving Ambies Awards!
This brilliant long-form investigative true crime podcast about the disappearance of 20-year-old Eliane Park is honestly one of the best I’ve ever listened to. The meticulous note-taking and the incredible attention to detail are impressive. I am super selective about what I listen to, often spending more time searching for something exactly like this, than actually listing to. However, this hooked me right from the start. The storytelling draws you in so effectively that you can vividly envision the events unfolding. Well done!
Loving this
This guy is doing a great job, love his voice, love the pace. Great research. Good job. Zero criticism.
Love it!
Such an interesting podcast. Really enjoying it
Amazing podcast
Very interesting and thorough. This podcast has me captivated. Can’t wait to listen more!
What happened?
Great show! I subscribed but I’m puzzled. There hasn’t been an episode posted in 2 weeks. Hope the podcaster is okay.
Excellent writing!
The host is awesome and the writing is great. The story flows really well from episode to episode. it took me a little bit to get over the somewhat awkward and stilted narration, but it quickly becomes endearing, like hearing your crush read out-loud in highschool English class. I appreciate that they took a very different approach to the “To Live and Die in LA” did.
Great show
I love this show I finish this show in 4 days love it
Great podcast!
I haven’t been able to find a good podcast in a few months, I listen to them all day at work (so I’ve listened to a lot). I decided to put this on as some background noise but I found myself captivated by it. Please upload more soon since that took me half a day to listen to :( I hope you find some answers for Elaine!
Dammmmn this is good.
Just get past the first like 30 minutes, not the best tempo of voice for this kind of podcast but by the second episode you’ve got so much respect for this guy it doesn’t matter. Genuine sleuthing dude like some extremely hard work has gone into this for a very long time and the stuff he is uncovering is insane. It’s also a cautious tale for anyone consuming true crime entertainment that you can’t be so quick to judge. Her mum has been tried and executed by the media and a previous podcast series that covered this case, and by episode two it’s clear that other suspects should have been looked into. Everyone leaves a trail on the internet - shame the police don’t seem to have the time/technology/manpower to do what this guy has done or this wouldn’t have gone cold.. can’t wait to keep listening
Fentynol overdose
Michelle was given 4 Narcan doses to bring her back from Fentynol. Just wanted to let you know this is not unusual for a Fentynol overdose. Rarely , very rarely, does anyone survive Fentynol overdoses because that drug starts robbing your body of oxygen before you become unconscious. It is almost always fatal. They often administer 4-5 narcan in the attempt to try a Hail Mary.
Amazing!
I love the fact that you aren’t just focusing on Susan but in fact looking at every person and possible scenario. To live and die in LA I felt they dismissed Devine way to fast and quickly framed Susan as her murxwred from the beginning . Thank you for continuing to share her story without being biased
Sound affects?
It’s great, but audio levels are horrendous, especially the transition sound affect between segments. Otherwise well done.
Like the cliffhangers
Very fascinating, result of lots of hard work and podcaster really brings Elaine alive in his descriptions and adding texts/conversations.
Great story!
Really enjoying this story and the way it’s being told! I wish there wasn’t background music when people are talking/being interviewed as it’s really distracting. Besides that, love it!
Great podcast
Well researched, thoughtful and ethical. I dig your narrative voice as well.
Really great
Really enjoyed the meticulous research and factual approach. Riveting - especially when the other podcast about this subject came to the conclusion that it was her mom … who the author of this podcast teams up with for much of this story …
Reels you in
I listened to “to live and die in LA and thought I knew the story. A very well executed podcast - I’m loving it!
Riveting
So intriguing. Excellent job, it’s obvious that you care. So thank you 🙏
Great listen
I started listening to this before listening to live and die in LA. I went back to listen to that podcast just to understand all the references. I love this podcast so far.
Drop the Pod!!!
I’ve been anxiously waiting for this podcast to drop and preemptively followed a while ago and thought it was supposed to premiere late 2024 or December 2024. Any update on if / when this’ll happen?! Very impressed with the 10min teaser based on it a seemingly quality investigation occurring, involving first hand sources, and legitimate information, etc. + solid production value and host. I’m well versed and an active participant in Elaine’s disappearance since the jump, so news of this podcast dropping, especially after a complete lull (at least publicly) in her case for the last few years was very encouraging. Wondering if the delay is due to the podcast’s investigation perhaps making some traction and thus needing to hold back critical info for sanctity of her case legally or officially? Either way, would love to know if this is delayed or not moving forward! Let the people know! And great work so far!
